You have been researching and writing a paper on a subject you didn’t know very much about. Now I want you to give a presentation on a subject you are an expert on! Your presentation should be
- on a subject you are interested in and know about
- 5 minutes or less
- informative
- targeted to your audience – you should teach the class something in a way we can understand
Also:
- You shouldn’t need to do much research for this presentation.
- You should include some visual and/or audio aids. This could mean an outline, pictures, objects, music, or videos.
- A simple powerpoint presentation is a good way to organize your presentation.
Try not to spend much more than one hour preparing your preparation. Remember, this is a topic you already know about. You just need to think about how to communicate some basic information about your topic to the class.
